Probes

1.PWS - Water based liquid probe

The PWS probe can easily be connected into a PAL-AT "sensor string" providing increased utilization of the PAL-AT capabilities. Each probe assembly includes a probe integrator with 60 feet (18m) of jumper cable to connect to the sensing string, and 20 feet (6m) of lead cable to attach the probe to the probe integrator.

The unique design of the PAL-AT probe integrator eliminates the need for additional power at the probe. Its solid-state stainless-steel construction allows the PWS probe to respond to all conductive liquids - water, acids, bases, chemicals, etc. The probe resets quickly after resets quickly after removal from the liquid.

2.PHL - Hydrocarbon liquid probe

The PHL probe can easily be connected into a PAL-AT cable "sensing string" providing increased utilization of the PAL-AT capabilities. Each probe assembly includes a probe integrator with 60 feet (18m) of jumper cable to connect to the sensing string, and 20 feet (6m) of lead cable to attach the probe to the integrator.

The unique design of the PAL-AT probe integrator eliminates the need for additional power at the probe. Its patented solid-state construction allows the PHL probe to respond to most liquid hydrocarbons but ignore vapors, thus virtually eliminating false alarms due to vapors. PHL is responsivve to a broad range of fuels and solvents. The probe resets quickly after removal from exposure to most volatile hydrocarbons.

3.PHFW - Monitor well probe

The PHFW monitoring well probe can easily be connected into a PAL-AT cable "sensor string" providing increased utilization of that PAL-AT capabilities. Each assembly increases a probe integrator with 60 feet (18m) of jumper cable to connect to the sensing string, and 20 feet (6m) of lead cable to attach the float switch to the probe integrator.

The unique design of the PAL-AT probe integrator eliminates the need for additional power at that probe. The TankWatch probe includes a junction box and contact adaptor in lieu of the probe integrator.

The PHFW is designed for use in 4 inch (100mm) monitoring wells where the sensor can hang vertically, extending into the water table to the bottom of the well. A weight attached to the sensor keeps it taut. The sensor filament responds to contact with selected hydrocarbons floating on the water by breaking, and/or releasing the weight, activating a switch. The probe is easily reset by replacing the filament.

4.PHFW-M - Monitor well probe

The PHFW-M probes are designed for use in applications such as manholes and fuel pits, where the sensor cable must detect hydrocarbons within .25 inch (6.5mm) of the bottom of the monitored area. If water enters the monitored area any fuel leaks will float on the water and be detected by the sensor. The probe's operation is identical to the PHFW probe and it includes a length of slotted PVC pipe to mount the probe.

5.PFS - Float Switch

The PFS float switch can easily be connected into a PAL-AT cable "sensor string" providing increased utilization of the PAL-AT capabilities. Each assembly includes a probe integrator with 60 feet (18m) of jumper cable to connect to the sensing string, and 20 feet (6m) of lead cable to attach the float switch to the probe integrator.

The unique design of the PAL-AT probe integrator eliminates the need for additional power at the probe. The TankWatch probe includes a junction box and contact adaptor in lieu of the probe integrator.

The ability for continued normal use of the System, such that neither the performance nor the functionality of the system will be affected by any changes to the date values caused by the arrival of the year 2000.

In particular:

1.No value for current date will cause any interruption of the system. 2.There is no manipulation of time-related data. The date/time information is used for history logging in the archives, which stores the last 900 events. 3.Leap year is included in the internal workings of the clock. 4.Date elements are represented without a century, but there are not manipulations involving the date element.

FluidWatch®

•The FluidWatch Leak Detection Monitoring Unit is engineered to monitor small areas for water leaks. Typical applications include unmanned equipment rooms, small raised floor areas and small tanks. The system continuously monitors the capacitance of the sensor cable and detects changes. Seconds after the coaxial sensor cable contacts water or water-based liquids, the unit enters into alarm. The sensor cable can be quickly dried in place after the leak is cleaned up and the system is back on-line.

FluidWatch uses an LED "traffic light" display to indicate status: green - normal; yellow - break; and red - leak. An audible alarm and two 250 VAC, 10A, SPDT activate relays when either a leak or break occurs. There are two operator buttons, one to test the system and the other to silence the alarm.

Internal jumpers are used to enable alarm silencing, to select cable sensitivity and to enable automatic silencing upon return of the system to normal conditions.

•Product Features •Senses water-based liquids within seconds of contact •Sensitivity from several inches to several feet •Durable sensor cable •Available in three different sensor length; 50 ft., 75 ft., and 100 ft. (15m, 30m, and 45m) •Comes in a kit, complete with 25 ft. (7.5m) of jumper cable, sensor cable, cable clips and cable tags

TankWatch®

•TankWatch PHMS Single Channel and PHM 10 Multi Channel probe monitoring units are engineered to meet a broad range of customer needs. The multi-channel system can be configured from one to 10 channels, with each channel capable of monitoring one dual probe or two single probes. The multi-channel modular design allows expansion to ten (10) channels by plugging in channel expansion cards and connecting probes. Modular construction permits plug-in pull-out service ease.

TankWatch employs an understandable "traffic light" display for status indication: green - normal; yellow - break; and red - leak. The unit enters into an alarm mode on any red or yellow condition, activating an audible alarm. A leak activates the system relay for external alarm or control functions. There are two operator buttons. One is used to test the system and other other to silence the alarm. This silence button can be disabled, via an internal jumper, to prevent unauthorized silencing.

TankWatch units are equipped with normally energized, 10 A, 240 VAC, DPDT relays; one relay for PHMS, four relays for PHM10. Any or all relays can be field set to respond to leaks. The alarm console can be located up to 5,000 feet from the probes. The system relays can activate an optional remote alarm.

Patented compact probes for TankWatch are solid-state design and respond in seconds, after contact with organic liquids or water. Hydrocarbon fumes or vapor have no effect, thereby virtually eliminating false alarms. There are probes available for monitoring ground water, brine levels in underground storage tanks and float switches for high/low level.

TankWatch can also monitor any switch (float switch, thermostat, high level switch, etc.) that is connected to the optional contact adapter.
